My first tank has arrived

Post by Tomcoles »

I have just recieved my new tiagen tiger. All I can say is wow. It’s an incredible kit. I have build loads of models and this is by far the best kit I have ever build so so much fantastic engineering has gone into it. I have only made a start on the chassis but I am very impressed.

Great start

I’m impressed by your clear and obvious admission that one will not be enough and like all forms of addiction, you will not be held up by trivial things like, oh, fiscal destruction in order to keep the feeling going !!!!!!

One tank ???

We need to flag this post to pop back up a year from now, just to see if he still only has one! :O :haha:

I really don't think that I'd put money on it!

Welcome to the addiction, Tom. Revel in it, roll in it, enjoy it!

The trouble with me was, I knew I only needed one tank. Then I saw a run-out on locally supplied Panthers and thought I'd better get one while it was still affordable, it'd only be one more than I need. After that I had to choose a Xmas present, and the third one arrived and it starting to look like a collection...

I remember when Richard started on the road to penury with the firm resolve that it would be JUST ONE TANK :haha: :haha: .
I got great pleasure at the time poking him metaphorically with a stick when he ended up with more Tanks than a well equipped Armoured Brigade.
Its like quicksand, Of course you don't intend getting caught in it but once in there is no signed exit.

I think I am about to upset someone :haha:

Be aware that there is a steepening of the slope after you get a 3d printer, at that stage you are way beyond help and can only continue headlong into the abyss.......  :/ :haha: :haha: 8O

A 3D printer was to be my next acquisition after my first tank, so I am doomed either way.......
