Tamiya tank lights easy way

Hi folks
Was looking at the new Kingtiger post, easy way for headlight and convoy light if you want them on together.
Open up a servo (better if it has stripped gears) cut the motor cables .
Solder a 2 pin jst socket on and glue onto the side .
Plug into the gear on the rx .
No resistors or messing with the tamiya board.
Something similar must be on here , how about a Tamiya fixit section. Just read reduction gear are going to destroy my gearbox on the Kingtiger.
