Cargo Net

Post by silversurfer1947 »

I am in need of a small amount of cargo netting suitable for German WW2 period. I have tried the plastic net bag that some clementines came in, but found it very difficult to change the colour. Any suggestions for alternatives?

There seems to be a lot of stuff for 1/35, just nothing for 1/16. I found something for 1/10 but that was all elastic.

To be honest, I'm not quite sure. However, for the sake of £1, I have ordered one to find out. If it's OK, being cotton, it should be easy to change it colour. If it's no good, at least I have a shopping bag. :D Thanks for your help.

Thanks for your efforts. A net bag is on its way so I will report back once it is here.

Double deal for you. Buy a roast wrapped in net cook the joint and then peel the net off it ...you'll need to wash the net off to get rid of the grease. Eat the roast while it dries out.... If the elastics still puling it tight stretch it out to the required size and dab it with super glue and it will hold its shape or just stretch over the model and secure it

I just had a thought, can't believe no-one came up with this, especially as we're all mostly old farts.
What about string vests?
