I did a spot on WW2 tanker handguns a little while back. This pic was posted in 2015, and shows: (L-R) German Panzer Walther P38 (The one I had on the range); British Tanker Enfield No 2 Mk 1 revolver, although the Tank version often had the cocking lever part of the hammer filed off, to prevent it catching on anything in the turret

: Luger P08 (This a swiss made one. Very accurate but tricky to field strip). Was once the standard Wehrmacht sidearm but replaced by P38 and PPK.
Bottom L-R: Colt 1911 (Chinese made model), carried by US tank crews. Tokarev TT-33 pistol, used by Russian tankers. There you have the lot, pretty much. Some US tanks also carried the Tommy Gun as a SDW..
These all work, and I've fired them all (they belong to my son in Switzerland). Hope you don't mind me broadening your thread just a bit.
Your Panther should have scale versions of the P38 (sometimes a PPK), and the MP40. Lugers were fiddly and difficult to strip if they jammed, so I'm sure Panzers were happier with the P38. I've seen near-scale versions of these.
The Beautiful SG 44 (first true assault rifle..and inspiration for the AK47) was not used by tank crews. It was an infantry weapon.

So was the K98.
