Hi from West Yorks

Post by Faerie »

Hello all.
I'm Kev & I just bought my first tank. :D
I've been interested in RC vehicles for a long time but my only proper contact with them were when my kids were young & had RC cars. Now they're grown I figure it's time that I had some fun so I got myself a Taigen M41 Walker Bulldog, mostly because I enjoyed playing that vehicle in World of Tanks.
I expect that mostly it will be driven around my garden, which is a decent size though it's no assault course, & I'm hoping there are some other enthusiasts in my area (Halifax) so's we can have some armoured fun together.
I'd also be pleased if the sight of a tank or two gave the neighbor's cats pause for thought next time they're thinking of leaving "presents" in my flower beds. ;)

<EDIT> I forgot to mention that I have a (proper) video camera & can edit fairly well, should anyone local wish to make a video of their tanks in action.

Hallo Kev, Welcome to the Forum
I just read about your close shave,
The problem is that the two worst (In My Opinion) dealers in the UK are the two dealers with the greatest advertising footfall, which means the first site selling r/c Armour that newcomers to our hobby come across is probably one of these pair.
If you do find anything wrong with your "Bulldog" come to us first please,
But enough of the "negative vibes" , Where have I heard that expression before ?:haha: :haha:
Having belatedly discovered the "Blacklist"on the MENU I suggest you check out some of the Builds just to get some idea of what you can achieve with a little time and the contents of your local Banks safe :lolno:
You have questions we have answers, and if you have answers then don't keep them to yourself TELL US,
Enjoy this place sometimes even I do :shifty:
Shaun.
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:
