Changing track width on wpl truck

I have been looking at the components for the new GAZ truck and after examining the axle assembly (as close as I could from the pics) I think it should be possible to print new axle components and modify the drive shaft to enable modification of the track width.

The reason for doing this is that I want to build a Scammell Pioneer, but the existing truck track width is too short by approx 20mm, and I'm not prepared to pay Tamiya truck prices for axles. Accordingly I have ordered 4 back axles and 2 front axles,

Just had confirmation from both suppliers that my orders despatched today, so just have to wait for the slow boat from China.....
