Pershing metal roadwheels - Anyone tried it?

Hello,
Has anyone tried to install metal roadwheels and suspension arms on the Heng Long Pershing? The ones I mean can be found here, for instance (

Does anyone know how exactly they are mounted on the hull (drilling + screws?) And do these have bearings? I'm also not sure whether the suspension (the springs) are included in the set as I don't see any of the springs seen on the Pershing....

Good afternoon,
I only replaced the idlers up front and the leading road wheels with metal ones but the build thread photos and posts will give you a good idea of whats required. My Pershing was from the early batches produced and sold by Heng Long. Yours might be newer and easier to work on in this regard. Good Luck!

Do you think only installing the front idlers is enough? I've only seen them available for purchase separately on Australian Tankarmy site..... I'd buy the whole wheel set but with international shipping (to Germany) there'll be a hefty VAT slapped on it driving the price above 100 Euros....
I might just go with the dont fix it unless its broken route lol

Good evening,
All my Pershing needed was a little extra weight at the front to keep its 'riding up' tendency in check. Adding the idlers and leading roadwheels in metal did the trick.

The sprockets in the foreground are heng long and they are utter crap, they are that out of round you could see the
tracks tightening and loosening as they turned.
FORGEBEAR TO THE RESCUE with a set of taigen sprockets which are much better.

I have also added 1 track link, I couldn't believe the difference that 1 link would make, before they were tight and it
didn't allow the front suspension to work properly, they may look loose but it runs great now.

The suspension arms are held on with the original screws from the plastic arms, its not the best set up as when fully
tightened there is a lot of slop, tried to shim it but then they lock up, I might drill the screw holes through and fit
a sleeve and fasten the arms on with a set screw and locknut.
