Re: Hi From Scotland
Welcome again. If you have read much of the info on here, you will realise that you have stepped on to a rocky road otherwise known as the most addictive hobby known to modern man. There is a wealth of knowledge, so feel free to ask your questions - the only stupid question is the one you don't ask. We have probably heard it before, but it's new to you otherwise you would not be asking it. BTW, a good sense of humour can help. Enjoy the tank you have and the ones yet to come.

Welcome to the Forum
As Richard said a good sense of humour is essential, What he forgot to say is a Friendly and generous bank manager and an extraordinarily tolerant partner are equally important,
This is a hobby best suited to multimillionaires but seems to attract the financially wanting
It is addictive,
You will find it easier to resist crack cocaine than that latest 1/16 Tank/Truck that you see on one of the websites,
The only comfort is you are not alone,
Enjoy this place, most of the time I do
,
You will be urged to proffer photographs, all I will say is that it is not compulsory.
Shaun.

Re: Hi From Scotland
Yes, as Richard is apt to point out- with good cause, this hobby can be very addictive.
It can creep up on up stealthily, and before you know it:
your spare room's become a workshop; large suspicious parcels keep arriving at the door. and unusual engine sounds are heard about the the house. What's more you're rarely seen anymore with the family in front of the latest smart TV.
Welcome to the madness on tracks, Bill. By the way, which part of Scotland do ye stay in?
