Desiginspark

Post by 971wright »

Hi Guys for you guys who don't fancy doing CAD drawings in code, Designspark is a good option if you can draw it you can make it , takes some practice but its not hard. worth trying it see how you go good way into CAD. if you have problems registering after download go to down load site and register its free so nothing to lose.

Look for SpaceClaim tutorials/YouTube clips too, it's a cut down version of that: the missing bits aren't necessary for what we need.

Thanks for the tip. Maybe this will encourage me to make use of my idle, unused printer ( :O ...yes..that's right..but it was a gift!). Finding time between builds, and general life maintenance drudgery, is not so easy these days. Learning code was never high on my list of priorities, either, and so this might well be an ideal solution.. Cheers.

Hi Watch the tutorials on YouTube just type in designspark mechanical and you should find them, see if its your type of programme .Watch the way they draw things and move them they make it look easy ,it dose take a bit of getting used to (I keep clicking the wrong button lol) but have made some simple parts best way to get into it ,then start with slightly more difficult parts.

I'd second trying DesignSpark. I managed to make these after only two days of playing around in the software.
