RC VW beetle as scale comparison

Post by Blackadder123 »

Found a really neat rc VW beetle that'd definitely be fun to drive alongside a German tank.... While it's not exactly a military support vehicle (not accounting for the Kübelwagen variant), it'll certainly show just how big the tanks were next to a small, civilian car. It entered production in 1938 so I'd imagine it definitely drove alongside tanks during celebratory parades, perhaps. The seller even said that there's some proportional throttle, although for the steering I imagine not so.

Strip the body off and you have starter for a cheap rc kubelwagen or derivative. :D

There are multiple offers of the same car on ebay.de and I reckon if you ask nicely one of em will deffo ship to the UK. When I buy stuff from ebay.co.uk ( im in Germany), more often than not the seller is willing to ship here when asked.
