Tamiya DMD config question

Post by MichaelC »

Hi all,

Just trying to hook up my Tamiya DMD to a radio, but when I power it up, both LED flashes Red/Orange (I can't really tell if it is orange or red, but I think it is suppose to be orange so I am convincing myself that it looks more orange then red), but when I press SET, nothing happens, the LEDs keep flashing away. The radio is up and the receiver is connected.

This is a brand new out of the box Pershing DMD. I seem to recall I have the same issue with my last Tamiya but of course I can't remember what I did or didn't do.

Any suggestions ?

Thanks !

MichaelC.

Try rebinding the rx

Usually the flashing orange lights on the DMD unit mean there is no incoming signal from the receiver.
Tanks alot....

It was stupidity. The Tamiya comes with receiver plugs that is oriented, but the receiver I use is not clear on which end it should go in (it was easier to go in the wrong way than the right way !).
