Yet another day paying into the system over !
Gents, i need anyones help/advise here. I'm trying to convert 2 of my older generation bb HL Tigers to Taigen IR turrets as supplied by the ever helpful forgebear. Has anyone ever done this ?
My Tigers run rx18 units but both just have a single 8 pin plug on the upper decks with a little square connecting 3 point board that wires from 8 pin plug and turret gun system were soldered onto.
I've followed the wiring guide enclosed with the new turrets to the letter but does say ' some mods ' maybe needed . I've managed to get turret turn and barrel raise/lower functions using a 3 wire (red,green, black) loom hanging out of the turret which had a white 3 pin male plug on the end but only by soldering the red and black wires to the little square board on the upper deck . The green wire doesnt do anything if also soldered to this little board so is loose presently. I have connected a thicker red wire hanging from the turret to the neg' side of main battery switch as per wiring guide but am at a loss with where this green wire goes i assume to activate the gun flash/recoil function ??
