MF01 unit connections

Post by Aus_Tank »

Hi all,

Would anyone have any idea on what the connections labelled CN1, CN2 and CN3 are for?? Could I use these outputs for anything?

Thanks

Thanks Pete. I made a mistake on one of the connections. CN5 not CN3. CN3 is the gun.

CN5 is undocumented by Tamiya but it gives out 6v (I think). I use it as a power source for things like extra lights.

Thats handy to know Chris. I should be able to use it for a graupner 6v smoker then.
Now to work out how to control the lights with either channel 5 or 6.

Cheers,

Hi Rik

CN5 is not controllable by the Tamiya MFU (at least no-one has found out how to do it and Tamiya is keeping Shtum!). So you'll need an RC switch attached to your receiver to activate whatever you connect to CN5.
