Hi,
Here is a model I created a few years ago. This tank is also known as the Flakpanther. This model is a 1/16 Juckenburg resin turret mounted on a Heng Long Panther G hull. The turret is the planned Production version but it was never produced during the war. It is different than the Profiline kit turret which represents the prototype. Some Tank Modellbau parts were used. Interior is basic Heng Long gears and electronics. The turret was given rotation and gun elevation using the Heng Long gears available.
This is my vision of a fictitious Flakpanther in 1946. At this point in the war, Germany's resources are limited and tank production was simplified.
The scenario for the pictures is that Germany is victorious in Europe and is now fighting the allies in India. Germany's forces are far from home, supply lines are over stretched and the Flakpanther condition show its been in action for a few years and is in great need of an overhaul.
The special shape of the turret can be seen through various angles.
Regards,
Louis
