Hi,
Here is a model I created a few years ago. This tank is also known as the Flakpanther. This model is a 1/16 Juckenburg resin turret mounted on a Heng Long Panther G hull. The turret is the planned Production version but it was never produced during the war. It is different than the Profiline kit turret which represents the prototype. Some Tank Modellbau parts were used. Interior is basic Heng Long gears and electronics. The turret was given rotation and gun elevation using the Heng Long gears available.
This is my vision of a fictitious Flakpanther in 1946. At this point in the war, Germany's resources are limited and tank production was simplified.
The scenario for the pictures is that Germany is victorious in Europe and is now fighting the allies in India. Germany's forces are far from home, supply lines are over stretched and the Flakpanther condition show its been in action for a few years and is in great need of an overhaul.
The special shape of the turret can be seen through various angles.
Regards,
Louis

Here is how the Panther gun elevation unit is installed in the Coelian turret.
It is quite rudimentary and it provides about 30 degrees of elevation. It's enough to have some fun with the turret.

An improbable (but beautifully executed) Panzer occupying the same frame as Buddha.
Now that really is a surprise
. Lovely compositions, and consummate detailing, as we have come to expect from you. I also like the improvised elevation unit. That's the sort of improvisation I like to aim for

Another unique and expertly-executed build, Louis. The weathering really brings the tank's background story to life!
