Challenger colour question....

Post by Rocketman »

Hi Guys

As ive nearly finished ( finally!) the Abrams ive cracked apart the Chally i bought a few months back ready to respray. Ive been pondering various schemes and then came across this handsome chap. However.... Every scheme ive seen like this is green and sand. This looks like sea grey and sand. Is it a trick of the screen and perhaps variation in colour printin having been scanned or a kosha scheme?

Any and all help appreciated . Really hoping its an actual scheme because I do really like it!

The 22 markings on the turret is wrong so I would say it's not genuine scheme.

Hi Tankbear. You clearly know about this subject so can you help me out please. Whats up with the markings? They look similar in design if not position to the scheme below pulled from thi site. Ive absolutley no knowledge on the chally markings so would be interested in what light you can offer on the Sand and green markings versions please. Are these the canadian training division

Lol not often someone says that.

the shape and numbers mean different things

Square B squadron
Triangle A squadron
Circle C squadron
Rectangle is D squadron
Diamond is HQ

11 & 12 is gun tanks of first troops
12 & 22 is gun tanks of second troops
Etc to fourth

11B is commanding office
