TAMIYA paints

Post by gisalook »

Hi guys
I don't know where you get your Tamiya paints from but I've been buying them of Ebay for around £2.80ish. The other day the wife asked me to take her to local hobbycraft store in Cardiff again. She loves the place and I always wait in the car what do I want in a bead and sowing shop. This time I went in with her to fetch and carry the stuff she buys.I noticed that they sell plastic models so I went to investigate. Low and behold flat Tamiya paints the same stuff I pay around £2.80 odd for. It was only £1.85 each I bought a load of them. So I'll be taking her more often now. I just thought I'd share with you guys.

When I need a few pots of Tamiya, I get mine from my nearest Hobbycraft, as it's not worth the petrol just for one. I find it very frustrating, though, on two counts. The paints are all mixed up and in no particular order. There is a limited selection of colours.

Hi guys.
When I checked the web site they only showed a couple of paint colours but when I went in my local store (20 miles away. LOL) they had a lot more colours and lots of flat colors.
