Hi, got a couple of 6.6v LiFe batteries for my smokers in my Tamiya Tiger 1 & am getting tons of smoke on full charge. They are probably putting out too much power so is there a safe limit to run them at, i.e. Can I use them at a lower charge (probably closer to storage charge voltage ) or are they as risky as Lipos if they drop too low?
These are the Graupner 6v smokers I mentioned in an earlier post that fit onto the exhausts on the T1& they do get hot so am worried about putting too much power into them & frying smoke units. Never intended to run them for very long but don't want to overdo it!
Rated at 6v and they draw 300ma/h and I'm getting 25 minutes smoking from 1ml fluid.
In a nutshell, can I use LiFe's to closer to 6v/storage level, use them for a bit without risk of going into risky undercharge territory? Obviously would discharge/ storage charge them after use.
Thanks, David.

Re: LiFe
I guess if you don't fully charge the battery you be closer to 6v.
Or could you add a cooling fan to help keep them from overheating?

Re: LiFe
Makes sense, was just worried about running them too low. In truth I very rarely have smoke on anyway.
