Torr Jagdtiger

Post by RustyTrax »

Added an IBU2 Pro some promax 480s and a servo recoil. I have plans for the traverse from something I found on Ludwigs.

I didn't want a heavy saturated paint job so this is it. The dull coat was still wet so the colors will mute as it fully dries. No weathering yet.

I like that a lot.
That green is actually the shade I wanted for mine.
Makes an interesting change to see full mudguards on one

Thanks for the compliments. The green is Hellgrun Vallejo 71.022 rlm82.

I used all model air colors for this. The base was hull red then dunkelgelb. The brown is armor brown. After the green went one I followed the green pattern with 50% sepia to darken it. Turns out a side effect is it gave a modulaton effect on the dunkelgeb.

I was going to add zimmerit but since none of the henschel units had it aplied it was skipped. All my tanks are toys and see fairly heavy used at Danville so PE tool hangers and such aren't a good choice. The full fenders help when navigating between the rocks and through the train tunnel.
