I had somehow over looked this post.I can offer up a few things you may want to consider in making your choice.There are several things with the gas models that are becoming problems in a lot of areas.One is the noise factor of the motor's,another is the exaust discharge into the water where you may choose to run your boat.(the oil and fuel is a no-no in a lot of lakes now).I myself have always liked the glo fuel engines but I now have a lot of battery hobby items.There has been big improvement in the batterys and the battery motors for these hobby models on the market place.It would be pretty hard for people to complain about noise and any kind of polution with the battery operated Boats.
