What on gods earth material did you use to to paint over to get the exact replication of that canvas Mr Frankie ?
Be real good to have a post or two in the tips & tricks section for some of your work.
I had a mad urge to take up oil painting once, as a hobby. The first result was enough to cure me of that ...and others ruefully agreed! But it occurs to me that the canvas used in picture frames ought to be ideal for this, as it comes in various grades
and is specifically intended for...er..paint.

They look just terrific, Frank. Is the driver of the Jeep one of the drivers that come with a Torro Halftrack? Is that a Danbury Mint Jeep or a different brand? They all look just great. Any chance for some video of the Halftracks in action? Are they still stock electronics or did you put in the elmod?
And yes, I've finally gotten over my amusement at pretending it's really Fyn that does all this great work.
When FDR coined the phrase "The Arsenal of Democracy", he was talking about Detroit. Proud to live in the 2nd most violent city in America!!
Cheers guys...
Yes the jeep driver came with the halftrack, the jeep itself is just a cheap 1/18 die cast one, there's several companies that do them, welly, UT, Solido etc
The halftracks are completely rewired...I've gone for a 2.4 radio, forward/reverse esc and a basic engine sound generator...not the best sounds but a lot cheaper than elmod...
