Printable goodies

Post by capt midnight »

I'm not sure if this belongs here, or not. If it needs to be moved, could one of the mods please do so. Does anone think it might be worthwhile to put up a pinned post just for printable items? Thanks.

Here's some printable items I've came across on the internet. Please download, resize, and print as much as you want!

I used this one as an antenna pennant.

I printed this one at 25% for a hand held map.

I used this one for an aerial recognition drape. Printed it out, sprayed it down good with a clear coat, then used diluted white glue. Had just a bit of color bleed, but I think it was because I worked it quite a bit while wet.

I've got some pdf files with loads of stuff, magazine covers, travel papers, boxes, stuff like that. Allied and Axis stuff. If someone can tell me how to upload these, I'll get them available to all.

Here's a link to the downloads...

Regarding the pdf files, I would suggest uploading them to the Downloads section that can be found in the menu at the top of the page.

Managed to get some of the items into the download section. Still have a couple that just will not upload. I guess I'll try them again later.

A lot of people do not notice it. It would be useful to list here the files that you have managed to upload, so at least they will know they are there.

Great idea! Thanks, Richard.

Here's a link to the downloads. They are all at the top of the list. Still have a couple to get in there.

I'll also go back and put this link in the first post.

Couldn't get a couple of the pdf files to upload, so I talked a friend of mine into converting them to image files. I posted them in the first post.

Some great stuff both for dioramas and enhancements for tanks.

I just added some stencils I made with some turret numbers to the Downloads Section...

downloads/

I would suggest printing them out on self adhesive paper. Cut out the black areas, then apply to the turret and paint. The numbers printed at 100% are 30mm tall. Just a bit too big for PzIV schurzen. Here's how to resize them...

Figure out how tall you need the numbers to be. Say 22mm. Now you'll just have to do a bit of math.
Take the size you want, then divide that by the 100% size.

22 divided by 30 equals .733.

Print the sheet out at 73% and you'll have your size.

If you need larger numbers, just reverse the wanted size and 100% size. Say 42mm is what you want.

42 divided by 30 equals 1.4. Just print at 140%

They might look a bit rough, I'm not really a computer artist, but I think they'll work. I was wanting some painting stencils, but couldn't find anything. All was either decals, or the shipping was through the roof. Came across a real small sized file of numbers, and through a lot of mouse time and a load of luck, I came up with these. :wtf:
