Channels are probably in the wrong place.

Also make sure that you have properly calibrated the sticks on the radio once you confirm the wiring of the channels
Tanks alot....

Re: Ibu2 hook up
The engine start noise I think is the elevation noise which you get when you turn the ibu on. What radio are you using? Are the main cannon fire and turret rotation on the same stick? Could be channels are reversed if this is the case.

Re: Ibu2 hook up
I have found that the diagrams for the boards (Clark or Tamiya in my case) do not match up with what I want each stick to do. On your FlySky, if you press and hold the OK button on the right, it will bring up a Menu with FUNCTIONS and SYSTEM. Press Down to move to the system box then press OK. Move the cursor down to Display. This will show you the channels. It is easy then to check whether each channel on the radio matches what the board says. Incidentally, if you ever make any changes to any of the settings, you save them by pressing and holding the CANCEL button. It took me a while to realize why I was losing things immediately after I put them in. Give this a try and see whether it makes any difference.
I assume you are using the receiver that came with the transmitter.

Re: Ibu2 hook up
I know it's not the same, but on occasion, my Tamia Tiger has thrown a wobbly and the controls have gone to pot. There is a set up facility on the Tamiya board, whereby you put the board into setup mode, then cycle through the stick operations as you want them. When retored to operation mode, the controls then function correctly.
Hopefully, someone with experience of an IBU2 can take over.
