Replacing commanders copula
After years of ignoring my Mato Sherman decided to upgrade the commanders copula which is not very well detailed itself as well turret top where it mounts.

Good morning,
Nicely done revamp there, GreenGiant! Those old MATO Shermans have a lot to offer the Hobby. My own 'In The Mood' is one of my favorite runners.
regards,
Painless

Re: Replacing commanders copula
Now really want to redo the turret sides. Have one of Aguilars T23 turrets on my Tamiya Sherman that I changed to the small loaders hatch but the difference in the sides on the Mato especially forward of the hatches is to obvious. Looks more like the sides of a Jumbos turret.
Only thing I think will have to be changed is shorter turret half screws in that area before cutting the sides and reshaping them a bit to get more of an angle to them.
If the Mato was easier to open up
I would already be doing that. Will post pics of any progress I've made on that when I get around to doing it.
May be sooner then later as the more I look at it now the worse it looks compared to the real thing.
