Reference photos.

Post by Oh How Original »

I did already have a search through the forum and I checked in the reference section, I have also exhausted Google lol!
I am in need of some good (definite) reference photos of the Leopard 2A6.
I have bought a second hand Tamiya Leo 2A6, so I need some inspiration for things they actually had mounted.
This is my first tank, so I'm going in at the deep end, complete noob lol.
I've found some images, but I'm unsure if they are all definitely of the 2A6, I'm never 100% trusting in Google image search results, so if anyone knows of somewhere I could look at 2A6 reference images that are 100% definite correct, I'd really appreciate it.
Or, if anyone has some and could either post them here or maybe E-Mail them to me or something.
I'm actually still unsure what theme/style I will go with, but I'd guess it will be weathered and beat up!
But I really want to get a good idea of what accessories I can add to it and things I can make, I'm reasonable with styrene, so I hope to be able to make some stuff from scratch.
The tank is actually 'death heads' on here and the original build is in the Tamiya section.
Super excited for it to arrive! :D

Thanks very much for those!
Much appreciated.
I'm sure as I go along, I'll pick things up, but given I'm no tank expert, I wasn't quite sure what I was looking for as accurate :)
I don't want to just bolt on every accessory I can possibly buy, I'd like a nicely finished runner.
As I found out with my RC4WD trucks, the more you put on it, the more falls off :haha:
