Chuck Berry,

Post by jarndice »

It was just announced that Chuck Berry died aged 90 earlier today at his home. I was bought up on his music as I guess was a lot of other members of the Forum.
RIP and thanks,
Shaun.
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:

I remember learning the guitar licks to 'Rollover Beethoven' (Beatles and Berry versions), in my teens. I still play them, and they sound just as fresh and inventive in the 21st century...

I have never tried to emulate ELOs version of "Roll over Beethoven" (Which is brilliant) But George Thorogood's interpretation of "Johnny be Good" is easier and very enjoyable.
