Depends on how detailed you want to be. I know there are photo etched sets available. My easy quick fix was some old air compressor hose braided from my airbrush. I cut it to size and glued the ends of them was very easy.

Not perfect but good enough for me

Again it's not for the purist but to upgrade over those basic ugly plain hoses it's a nice upgrade. Didn't cost much- a slplit hose. Image the ends were a bit narrow for the connectors to the engine deck cover and the air cleaner ends so I sanded them down a bit and carefully opened up the inside diameter of the rubber inner hose. I used glue to keep the ends of the fabric from unbraiding ( learned the hard way). Image

If you go to ---
www.forgebeartanks.com
Click on the "ABER" plate,
What you are after is "ABER" 16031 Feifal Air Cleaner £16.99,
It is Photo- Etch, About now most people who haven't worked with PE are saying no way, But this is so easy,
Separate the sheets into 4 pieces, One for each plastic pipe then trim the edges with a fine file or emery board and then you quite literally wrap the sheet of PE around the plastic hose good and tight, as you wrap it you will see it taking a multi angled shape, Once it is tightly wrapped you then either SOLDER or GLUE along the seam and repeat for the other 3 pipes,
Job done.
A TIP, Push a biro or similar through the plastic pipe to put some rigidity in it as you wrap it. I don't use the end caps they are more trouble than they are worth.
You end up with a set of 4 Air cleaner pipes looking exactly like the real thing.
When I first began building Tiger 1s I would use braided hose because I was wary of using PE having heard stories of how difficult it was,
They Lied,
Shaun.
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:

I used old airbrush pipe too, prior to that I just used to neatly wrap thread around the plastic pipes and dab it with superglue.
