Warriors 1/16 Cadillac Gage V-100 Armored car
Extremely rare and almost impossible to find, this is a Warriors 1/16 Cadillac Gage V-100 Armored car resin kit. Almost no information is available on it but I assume it is about 20 years old. I was the lucky one to see it first when it appeared on eBay and i snatched it with a buy-it-now option. For 2 weeks, I was dreaming on how I could maybe install Traxxas gears and turret movements. My RC hopes were dashes when the postman put the box in my hands and I felt the full 10 pounds of it. This is a very nice static model kit without realistic possibility to adapt it to RC. The 2 main hull halves are solid bricks of resin. Yeah, I could Dremel the whole thing empty but I like to keep my resin sanding to a minimum. It's too bad because all mainstream producers have neglected Vietnam era vehicles (no M-48, M-60 or M-113...), which have so many possibilities for variants. As this is a rare piece of 1/16 Vietnam armor, I thought you would like to see the kit. It's big at 13 inches in length and the 2 resin half figures are superb. It will be a very nice shelf queen one day.

Re: Warriors 1/16 Cadillac Gage V-100 Armored car
Good morning,
Very clean looking kit! I know the solid brick o' resin bit. I have a neat 1/16 StuG IV resin kit that is one solid block of resin for the deck and casemate. I plan on using real tracks to display the kit with once built. ( at least ;o) ( maybe even metal sprockets and running gear just to save some resin dust )
regards,
Painless

Very nice!
Believe it or not you can buy an M113 and soon then be an m48 on the market from Ludwigs.
He does a centurion which could be made into a Vietnam era one.

One thought might be to use the upper/lower for reference/measurements and create the hulls using styrene sheet - then you could rc it and use all the model parts. Certainly the lower hull looks fairly straightforward and you can take exact measurement for sheet cutting and assembly. Even the upper is only 12 pieces of flat styrene, plus a couple of cross-braces. What an interesting challenge!
