What RX18 mods/tricks are there to get more functions?

What RX18 mods/tricks are there to get more functions?
For example, up/down turret mod? Or is it a case of new TX and a clark/IBU board if we want more?

The cheapest way is probably to fit the latest Heng Long board with the latest Heng Long Transmitter, The improvement will surprise you, But yes the fitting of an IBU2/3 or an ASP or a Clark board along with a decent 6X channel transmitter and receiver would really be top of your wish list.

If you've got a tank destroyer without a turret you can use the turret traverse channel to give up and down movement

Is the new 2.4 receiver board not the same apart from the signal ? What can be done to the new board, anything?
