Some coins about large scale RC tanks are:
1. they are bulk and heavy, hard to move around
2. expensive
H/L Pantiger, H/L Leopard 2A6, Mato Panzer III, Hybrid Tiger 1 and some tank wreckage

Is there much in the way of upgrade parts or accessories for 1:10 tanks? I've really only seen 1:24, 1:16 and 1:6 before.

It's not listed in 'New items', Carl. It's in 'Panzer Zubehör 1:10'..or tank accessories/parts, in other words.
There's an interesting thread on Maier's all-metal Panthers here, also there's a warning that any offers on Ebay.de are not likely to be the genuine item, as Maier's firm went bust ages ago. http://www.uktank.org/phpbb3/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=1918
Maybe Mr Tam has an almost complete oldie on offer for parts...
My own experience of Asiatam has not been a great one...so far

The 1/10 scale is pretty big in Germany, but never really took off here.
Spares & upgrades could be an issue in UK.

In my mind it is almost the perfect scale as the models have real presence but can still be picked up.

Cheers
