Even they seem confused, & they make the darn thing!
2Ml, 5ml, 2ml first then 5 ml?
I've been dropping 3 m from an ink syringe but it seems fairly short lived.
What sayeth the hive mind?

Re: Heng Long factory smoker. How much oil?
I've never had much luck with those smokers. They always seem to pack it in after a short while and are too noisy for my liking unless they have improved the design in the last couple of years.
I have never used one myself but Tarr smokers seem to be the standard these days.

Well I have 2 of them so I'm going with the flow for now.
Maybe after they both burn out I'll upgrade?

Tarr smokers are the best IMHO I've never had much luck with the stock smokers they are either hit ( the one in my t-34 ) or miss. The trick is to not add too much oil
I agree the stock smokers are very noisy but if you did the fan upgrade that would eliminate that pumping piston sound.
The Tarr smokers are very reasonably priced I sourced mine from Ian (Mr Tankbear) and they arrived in the states in under 10 days
I do run a stock Taigen smoker and it is nice so far....
I'd run what you got until they die...

This has the small fan attached to the smoke unit that had been modified. Makes a bunch of the smoke you desire
Tanks alot....

Re: Heng Long factory smoker. How much oil?
A tank has to have a smoker !
Can't have all that realistic expensive throbbing engine sound without the smoke to go with it.
All my stock Taigen and Torro smokers are good performers (Tarr's must be blummin marvellous)
The newer ones are quieter too.
Nowt better than the Tiger firing up and belching exhaust smoke.
Anyway 5 ml is the ticket.
