StuH 42 conversion

Post by lmcq11 »

Hi,

I will always be thankful to Heng Long to have created a basic Stug III G. It's cheap, good looking, does not take much room, well made, solid and runs well. The basic model allows for many conversions into various versions. Attached is a simple StuH 42 conversion with 105mm metal howitzer from Tank ModellBau, metal and rubber road wheels, Ostketten winter tracks, deflector from Atak models, external real exhaust and scratch built late model remote control MG with the proper hatch arrangement.

Regard,
Louis

In essence, the closer one looks at your StuH, the better it gets. The shading and detailing are top class; so much so that all the individual parts stand up well
to closer scrutiny. The exhaust, just for one for example, looks totally authentic, but the overall effect ought to make you feel very pleased. :D If it were my handiwork,
I'd feel really proud of myself. You have a steady hand there.

Good evening,
Excellent and detailed job on the StuH! With all of the StuGs around, you think that one would see more of the StuH.
regards,
Painless

Hi,
I had some fun and brought out the StuH to my "Eastern front" (Quebec winter) backyard, Ostkettens in action...
