Small but drivers.

Post by gisalook »

If your having trouble tightening small nuts or can't find a but driver small enough use an Alan bolt as the socket/nut driver. Just find one the but fits in the head where the Alan key goes. What I do is tap a bit of delrin plastic and screw in the Alan bolt and you've got a nut driver.

That's ingenious. You never really stop to think how these things can be used in either direction.

if you've got a drill or a lathe you can turn the head down a bit and make it look a bit better.

Add a gobbit of grease to make sure the nut stays in place in the head of the hex socket when its inverted and your onto a winner.
