Evening all.
I'm after a more realistic behaviour from my Torro Tiger 2 which currently accelerates like a 1/10 brushless touring car, for a tank...
Seen the Walterson metal gearboxes on eBay from Germany for £60 which claim to be specific fitment for Torro T2s and with a reduced gear ratio and adjustable pinion size promises to be a little closer to what I'm after.
Does anybody have any experience with these gearboxes for build quality, performance and reliability. So far the Torro standard gearbox has been faultless so don't want to rip it out for something inferior.
Thanks!

Re: Walterson gearbox reviews?
Ben Hi, if you have access to a pinion puller you can buy a different set of pinion gears which will slow down the Tiger and they wont cost anywhere near £60.

I think I am about to upset someone

Re: Walterson gearbox reviews?
They wont slow your tank down much compared to the 4:1 gearboxes you already have. You're better off upgrading the electrics for some that provide a greater degree of control.
