Hello,
I have been interested in RC for about 40 years and scale model building for almost as long, I got my first Tamiya Sherman around 1995 and have been collecting ever since. I am in the process of updating the Sherman and will follow up with rebuilding my Tiger 1 and King Tiger. Unfortunately there are very few hobby shops in Hawaii, with limited selection.
My interest in Tanks stems from my time in the Army as a M1 Tanker, these scale models move very similar to the real thing and it is a way to relive my younger days as an armor crewman.
Aloha
Joe

Welcome, Joe ('G.I.Joe' might be better in view of the M1 service..
)
You're not the sole Hawaiian on the Forum, and we have had distinguished contributors from there in the past. I'm sure we'll look forward to your pics, hard-earned wisdom and general input in future.
Though you're way behind us...timewise..have a Happy New Year when it arrives.
Maybe a few more
Hawaiian members will spur someone to create a great model shop or resource there. The Forum probably had an influence on HL and Taigen future planning (I hope- albeit small...
)...so, you never know.
Anyway, we can but try.
