Using a DX6I for a IMEX King Tiger

Post by MM1_TB »

I have a DX6I and want to convert my tanks so I can use it. What do I need to do to the tank and Transmitter?
Thanks for the help.

Hi, I have a Turnigy 9X which I use for my Tanks because it has two rotary controls that allows me to control the sound from my Transmitter,
I also have a Spectrum DX6i which I use for my Aircraft,
As you will know it does not have any rotary controls which means all your Tank sounds have to be adjusted in the Tank.
Just so you know Flysky and Turnigy Transmitters have Rotary controls as standard.
If you have the standard TAIGEN/TORRO control board fitted in your King Tiger then that will have to come out and be replaced by an aftermarket control board such as an IBU2/3, any of the CLARK range or the ASP Boards,
You will of course also need to fit a DX6i compatible Receiver between the replacement control board and your transmitter
Shaun.
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:
