GOOD LUCK AMERICA

Post by HERMAN BIX »

Without turning this simple message into a political rave............

Good luck with the vote to our American cousins, its a tough choice to pick bad or worse, and I feel for you having to make it.
I wish you well in the outcome, and my family extends to yours the goodwill of friends and historic allies.....

I'm just happy that it will finally be over, one way or the other. The sad part is, the American people will be the losers when the votes are tallied. I'm embarrassed about what the world must think, is this the best of their best?

It's amazing how someone can vote Republican all their lives, and yet once they die, they vote Democrat. :P :haha: :haha:

Best wishes to you all over the pond, these are indeed interesting times.

Good morning,
I'm not going to put friendships on the line ( been enough of that lately ) by commenting on this election. I'll see along with everyone else what happened when tomorrow gets here. Let me just note that today is the last day to submit photos for TOTM! Come on and join in, folks!
regards,
Painless

Us humans just keep on making mistakes don't we ?

Me and my mates came to the conclusion that democracy is rubbish
We agreed that the way to go was a benign dictatorship - so long as it was one of us calling the shots :haha: :haha: :haha:

Hi to our friends in the US and my thoughts go with you on this sad day for democracy. I have never witnessed such a depressing campaign in all my long years and I hope that there is some sort of happy ending to this, although I have my doubts and fears not only for the US but the rest of the world.
Anyway hope it all ends as well as possible.

This has been the worst political season I can remember. These "people" (politicians aren't real people hence the "") have done nothing but attack the other candidates like rabid pit bulls!

Neither of the candidates are worthy of being president of the U.S.
Neither of them are worthy to be the commander in chief.

I would sooner vote for Mickey Mouse then either of those 2 ass clowns.

The question that has always intrigued me is how American politics can lead to such bizarre candidates for President. This time is exceptional, but there have been dodgy characters in the past.
