Panther Dots
Hi Everyone,
thought I would share my build of a panther with Night IR. I bought a Panther a while ago and have bought various bits for it, got the commander night vision add on and some other bits as well, schurzen etc. This is how she looked before I started the paint job
So the primer went on ok
So this is the camo that I am going for
So I had a think about how to get the spotted effect, I settled on a hole punch and some low tack sticky back plastic. Cue a trip to hobbycraft and let me introduce you to my new best friends!
So I went with the brown as the first layer, then the green is going on and then the dunkelgelb over the top to give the effect between the circles.
So the preshade went on then the brown.

Good morning,
That is a ton of clever prep and I think that the results will be amazing. Well worth it!

Painless

Good Lord man that's two crap loads of dots! I used a Q-tip to do my ambush paint schemes but I can't wait to see how this looks!

I've done a couple of ambush paint schemes, looking forward to seeing how yours comes out using the dots.

Re: Panther Dots
Much appreciated all, still sticking the dots on for the brown, got the green to do yet! Moment of truth is when I peel them all off. This better work

Re: Panther Dots
Impressive work, looks like it'll come out nicely.
Uschi van der Rosten do a stencil for the disc camouflage, in case you run out of dots (or sanity) before you're finished though.
