Hi, Brian is right about Dave, and if you go to ---
www.rctank.de
they have them for Euro32.95 + postage. Hope that helps,
Shaun.

Both Dave at ---
http://www.forgebeartanks.com
As well as ----
http://www.rctank.de
Will happily sell to you in the USA BUT a word of advise, do remind the dealer you are buying from that you are in the USA and are not liable to pay VAT(Value Added Tax),
Not all, but some add it on automatically unless they are reminded and as that is 19% it is about the same as the cost in postage, so it is worth the saving.
With the pound falling like a concrete block you could make a decent saving buying from Dave, Just a thought.

Re: Where to get parts?
If you are spending less then $50.00, rctank.de will still add the VAT to your order, too much paper work for him to subtract it for less than $50.00 is what he told me.

Could you explain what VAT is and why its too much work to subtract for less than 50 dollars?jtracks wrote:If you are spending less then $50.00, rctank.de will still add the VAT to your order, too much paper work for him to subtract it for less than $50.00 is what he told me.

Re: Where to get parts?
In simple terms, Value Added Tax is a tax applied to the sale of all goods and services sold within the EU. For exports to non-EU countries the VAT can be removed. However, it is not as simple as just deducting the tax. There will be various customs forms to complete and it will also cause some complications with the return that the business owner has to submit to the tax authorities. I would guess there comes a point when the time and effort involves effectively wipes out the margin on the goods.

Re: Where to get parts?
Ash,
Hopefully someone cleverer than I will come by and do a proper job of explaining VAT,
Value Added Tax is a universal tax throughout the European Union, The individual member state decides what is covered by the Tax and the member state can make exceptions,
in the UK newspapers and certain foodstuffs as well as certain pharmaceuticals and medical aids are exempt from the Tax but otherwise it is pretty much all embracing,
When the UK finally leaves the EU in a couple of years the Tax will no longer have to be applied BUT I have this feeling that an equal and just as insidious Tax will replace it,
As to why it is too much trouble to subtract it from transactions under $50, the only answer I have is that rctank.de does not employ the services of an Accountant to care for their finances although there are plenty of computer applications available to help small businesses manage there Tax affairs.
I hope that this explanation is both accurate as well as helpful.
