SLU- recoil

Was wondering if anyone came up with the solution of how to recoil barrel with SLU

The only way I know is by using an asiatam unit, you can't use a servo on the old SLU. The new ne apparently has servo support though.

Hi You can convert a Heng Long recoil unit to work correctly , see post here http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/rc-tank ... ecoil.html

or you can fit a standard heng long recoil unit , slow back fast forward .

the only other option is the asiatam unit .

Any recoil unit with a motor and a microswitch will work. You have to reword Tamiya but it works

I have a Tamiya recoil unit, but SLU port is only two prong...?
