THE KNOCKED OUT T-34: FINALLY FINISHED.

Post by eddiesolo »

This is my knocked out T-34. It is the lower and upper hull from an old Trumpeter kit, a lot of parts missing so scratched made some and made a engine starter to go inside under the mesh-no back cover. Half the tracks are missing as they got lost. The turret was given to me but knackered.

So, shell hits, lots of rust, weathering, smoke, ashes and dust :D

Amazing work. I have a t34 in German service that I'm working on now and it's got slot of battle damage but you have inspired me to do more! [THUMBS UP SIGN]

It really looks the part: ...a long abandoned tank in some forgotten conflict zone- a desolate battlefield relic....like your tortured Tiger.  It looks like the Boffin of Bombed-Out has struck again!! ... :D
The Golan heights has rusting Pz IVs- (odd but true), along with burned out T55s, while the Sahara has any number of hulks from WW2. You've certainly captured the feel of these tank graveyards.

Really looks good. The only thing I find disconcerting is that the hull front machine gun barrel is still in place.

I am getting impressed by these model knocked out tanks, I did a PzIII years ago and sold it, but after seeing the masterpieces on here I am tempted to do another one.

Great work!
