Speaker upgrades

Hi All

I see that Forgebear has some mato speakers for sale on ebay

I was just wondering, I have an IBU2 board in my tiger 1 and was wondering if getting these or similar speakers would result in a better sound. I remember a previous topic about a similar question where buying upgraded speakers were better if you had a better board.

I don't know what speakers are in the mato boxes but the ibu on its own uses one speaker.i use these with the board on its own

Or if I'm using the tpa amp a or similar it's either 2 of the above or if there is room I go for these

You have to build your own boxes/mountings though

I totally echo that from Del. I have tried a lot of various speakers and the Visaton are all around fantastic. Especially the FRS-8 with
a nice air tight enclosure-really has a great deep bass sound.
