Well it's time to have a go at the real stuff ,I've been on the forum nearly a year and i think my painting skills are getting there, But the real modelling starts with alterations to the model its self, So I thought It was time to have ago , I was reading HERMANS Jagdtiger post earlier and he quoted a fraise ,YOU CANT MAKE A SILK PURSE OUT OF A SOWS EAR, so that got me thinking what about making "A SILK PURSE INTO A SOW,S EAR". I've taken one of my shelf queen TIGER 1's that in time I was going to re paint anyway, So iv,e researched some of the basic things wrong with the Henglong Tiger 1 and made a start, so I've opened the deck hatches ,and removed all the side fenders and fronts ( fenders only removed for the look I want), and removed the drivers closed viewer, Then I filled and sanded but more fine sanded needed to deck hatches before new metal ones can be fitted, so after day 1 (Yesterday) this is where I'm at.
Ps what I mean by sow,s ear see bottom pic .

After I trimmed and filled around the deck hatches, I then realised I hadn't trimmed of and filled where the headlights are.
