New Member from Scotland
Hello, I'm David, I first entered the RC Tank hobby a few years back with a WSN Tiger, which I then sold to concentrate on other hobbies! I've since regretted selling it and now want another RC tank so thought I'd join to get advice etc, so I hope you don't mind many questions.
There doesn't seem to be many vendors in Scotland who sell these tanks, so advice as who to trust etc would be appreciated. Thinking along the lines of Taigen at the moment.

Hallo David, Welcome to the Forum,
There is a model store in Edinburgh which deals in R/C Armour,
It has had varied comments some positive and some not,
I have been a happy customer for many years without complaint, I suggest you check out their website -----

Shaun.

Thankyou, I know Wonderland Models very well but don't know if they stock the tanks I am interested in! I buy a lot of kits from them, so will contact them and find out.

David,
The two TAIGEN Dealers I would recommend are ----
www.forgebeartanks.com
And ------
www.rctank.de
Dave of Forgebear is an active member of this Forum and comes highly recommended,
If he has not got what you want tell him and he will get it.
RC Tank is a German Dealer with a very good name and is always a pleasure to deal with.

Aye, Welcome David. if you think you're badly served for rc tanks down in Dunbartonshire, there's only one rc model shop in the Highlands; and they have nae tanks..There's also little in the way of a rc clubs except for models sporting wings.
Nil desperandum. We live in the age of the Internet and couriers with loud boomboxes!
However, I get most of my bits from Welshdragon (Steve, a member here..and a real gent); http://www.rctank.de (superb site); http://www.heng-long-panzer.de (also good); and Forgebear and Tankbear (stalwarts of this site and highly dependable).....I can recommend them all. Postal charges are modest if you're canny and, for the moment, rates to the EU don't differ appreciably from those here. Unless, that is, you live in The Highlands, where we are sometimes slapped with a discriminatory 'surcharge'- an offshore/island rate
That wouldn't be so bad IF I lived on Skye, say, but I'm on the mainland... A Taigen model would be a great start, by the way.
Roy.
