IBU3 Firmware 0.14 now available

Post by Tankbear »

IBU3 Firmware 0.14 now available

Some minor bugs in IBU3 firmware 0.12 found and now fixed in released version FW 0.14 and PC software 1.0.0.3

All IBU3 shipped from RC Tank Electronics will already have firmware updated to the latest version

Here’s what’s new FW :

Flasher output, some signaling blinks was missing (smoke and inertia on/off, missing radio signals).

MG1 and 2 led output, with high volume audio samples the output was always lit instead of blinking.
Changed the peak detection management now the IBU3 will learn the peak amplitude and blink regardless to sample volume (only have to play one time the complete sample to make it learn)

Engine stop sample override all the other engine sounds.

On clutch style gearbox, reverse steering was wrong way round. This is now corrected.

On clutch style gearbox, inertia couldn’t be activated. This is now corrected.

Here’s what’s new PC software :

Left and right drive speed adjustment now rationalized to single drive speed when selecting clutch gearbox

Yours is 12, skipped 13 (unlucky).

I say you best leave it unless your noticing any of the bugs listed above.

Roger that! I'll see if the sounds and lights have any issues before I mess with it.

is anyone else getting strange behavior with the engine break sound on this firmware?

It seems stuck on the main gun fire sound and also starts an annoying pulse noise.

I'll try deleting all sounds and see if that fixes it but if anyone has any ideas they'd be much appreciated.

Deleting all sounds seems to have fixed it
