London tank battles for fun

Post by T.Watson »

Hi
I am interested in having some FUN and a (few beers) playing with tanks in or around West London.
Is there a club? anywhere?
I have a collection of Heng Long, Taigen and Torro tanks some infra red and BB. Is there a club near Ealing, West London?
I am happy
to travel up to 2 hours to meet up.
My Tanks:
M26 Pershing, 2 Shermans' 105 and 76mm, M16 Half-track, King Tiger, Tiger 1 (some bb firing others infra red) plus some infra red 1/24th scale anti-tank bits and pieces.
Is there anyone out there who would like to play?
Best wishes

Welcome T, there are a couple you could travel to from there - Grantham and SEAG.

I run SEAG along with Scalawag - based in tunbridge wells in Kent.

Next meet is on the 20th August.

Most of us run 1/16th tanks but not bb firing allowed.

Wow I did not expect a reply today!
Sounds good - happy to bring a couple of infra red tanks. Tunbridge would be nearest to me, the meet on 20th would be good for me. As you can guess I am new to this.
On a separate matter I am also interested in creating 1/16th (or thereabouts) buildings is there anyone out there who could advise?
I do have access to a 3d printer.

Welcome T. I am sure there are members on the forum who will be able to help you out. And it sounds like you have a good collection. Some pics would be nice.

We have a battlefield with various buildings and scenery, when you come along the guys that made then can advise.

Search for SEAG and the details of the meet will pop up in the thread.
