Room in KV1
Does the KV1 have about the same or more space inside overall as Tiger I/KT? (Tracks look about same width as Tiger I also?)

Hello MB4,
did you upgrade to the taigen metal hull with torsion bars ?
I have this on a toro KV-2 conversion, metal tracks and road wheels.
Close to 16lbs in weight.
Mine has the de 5:1 gearboxes but i don't think they are strong enough.
I would be interested to know what you are using and what you think of them.
Cheers

Re: Room in KV1
Hi, yes I upgraded to the asiatam metal lower with torsion suspension, it was also for my torro converted kv2, I run standard black steel gears in there and it's fine, it has metal tracks with metal sprockets and idles, the road wheels and return rollers are plastic. I also have a Taigen metal version kv1 which has all metal running gear and the black steel gears are also fine in that, HTH
