I used to be into HO and N scale model railroads and the better locomotives use a flywheel to make them run smoother and I was wondering what you guys would think a flywheel would do for our tanks if anything?
I realize that they couldn't fit in all tanks but if the motors had their shaft come out of the back of the case the flywheels could be put on what's essentially the back of the motor. Or if they could be added to the gearboxes like on the gears themselves.
What about a flywheel?

Edwin used flywheels on attached to the brushless out runners. Seems to work well.
