Re: Light ?
On the 8 pin plug.
The first two wires are red and black.
At the other end are three wires, these are the lights negative, machine gun negative and a shared positive for the lights and the machine gun.
Trace these wires and check that there are no breaks in the insulation, and that nothing is shorting out anywhere. Bridged solder somewhere etc.
If all else fails, rewire the circuits.
The machine gun negative straight to the 8 pin negative.
The lights negative straight to the 8 pin negative.
The lights and machine gun positive straight to the shared positive.
Another little tip is that if you want a muzzle flash and don't want to buy an HL flash unit, just connect a superbright led to pin 3 and pin 5.
Always note that the RX18 pins are shown with the plug going in with the indents at the top.
If you have a tank with an 8 pin connector between the lower and upper hulls you need to check that you are using the correct pins, as the plugs/colour coding can sometimes be reversed on the plug socket in the upper hull.
