SMLE Bayonet

Post by silversurfer1947 »

I am in need of a 1/16th scale bayonet, which doesn't seem to feature in any of the accessories listings that I have found. I did think of trying to make one from the brass surround to some pe, but it seems too bendy. Any suggestions (preferably polite and practical) would be appreciated. I have a full sized original to use for dimensions.

If you are prepared to make it yourself then I would use a Nickel Silver Sprue from any "Schumo" product as my base, it is not "Bendy" but it is easily worked and shaped with hand tools,
AND IT'S FREE.

I think I am about to upset someone :haha:

Great idea. I may need to hunt through the waste bin, but I will certainly have a go.
